Dutch Bros Coffee, a growing national coffee chain, needed a new contactless way to connect with customers during the pandemic and replace its old punch-card loyalty system. To do that, Dutch Bros partnered with Paytronix Systems and used the Paytronix customer experience platform to launch its first-ever digital loyalty program.
With Paytronix Systems, Dutch Bros rolled out a points-based app that let customers earn rewards, enter contests, and experience Dutch Bros digitally through features like stickers, gamification, personalization, and audience segmentation. The program was a major success, gaining 1.4 million members in the first month and winning back over 220,000 lapsed members, while also driving stronger engagement and transactions.
