Using a Paytronix-powered holiday gift card promotion, Grotto Pizza offered a 20% bonus card on gift card purchases, with bonus cards redeemable during the slow winter period. The campaign drove stronger results each year, increasing gift card sales by 20% in the first year and 30% in the second, and later delivering more than a 20% lift in total sales versus the prior year’s promotion, along with increased winter traffic and stronger customer loyalty.
