Urban Casual-Dining Chain partnered with Paytronix Systems to improve the profitability of its birthday promotion while reducing fraud. The restaurant wanted a way to attract repeat visits during guests’ birthday month and measure whether the offer was truly driving value.

Paytronix Systems used its loyalty software to automate a monthly birthday reward for qualified members who had met a minimum spend threshold in the prior nine months. The campaign produced strong results: 53% of targeted guests redeemed the reward, guest visits among the target group rose 28%, and the offer generated incremental profit for both infrequent and frequent guests, including about $20 in profit per incremental visit from infrequent diners and an 82% increase in guest check among frequent guests.
