California Pizza Kitchen’s mobile rewards program delivers

California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) wanted to improve the effectiveness of its promotions by delivering timely messages to its CPK Rewards members when they were likely to be deciding where to dine. To address this, the restaurant chain partnered with Paytronix Systems to implement a targeted geofencing solution.

Using the Paytronix platform, CPK sent two successive geofenced messages during National Pizza Month to a segmented test group of rewards members near its locations. Paytronix's Data Insights team helped manage a test-and-control methodology to measure efficacy. The results were significant, with the target group's visit rate exceeding the control group by 18%, demonstrating a direct positive impact on revenue from Paytronix's solution.
