Bruster’s Real Ice Cream partnered with Paytronix Systems to modernize its simple “buy 9, get the 10th free” punch-card loyalty program. While the old program was popular with guests, it offered no insight into customer behavior or preferences, making it difficult for Bruster’s to run targeted promotions or drive repeat visits.

Paytronix Systems helped Bruster’s launch a digital-only loyalty program with app, online, and phone enrollment options, plus a multimedia launch campaign and store contest to encourage signups. The program reached 16% penetration in 10 months, exceeding the 15% goal, and loyalty members spent 10% more than average. Targeted RFM campaigns delivered strong results, including a 187% ROI for the first segmentation campaign and up to 263% ROI on lapsed-customer offers.
