Break Time Drives 25.6% Increase in Customer Spend with Monthly Rewards Challenge

Break Time, a convenience store chain, wanted to strengthen its loyalty program and encourage guests to visit more often and spend more during each trip. To do this, it worked with Paytronix Systems using Paytronix Data Insights and the MyTime Rewards program, aiming to create a more engaging, tier-based rewards experience.

Paytronix Systems implemented an automated monthly rewards challenge with four tiers that rewarded both visits and spend, along with personalized messaging to prompt requalification and tier progression. The program helped Break Time achieve a 25.6% increase in customer spend, a 2% increase in gallons pumped, 42% of transactions completed with MyTime Rewards, and 12,000 guests reaching the top “Big Time” tier.
