Sea Breeze Syrups is a 92-year-old, family-owned beverage manufacturer based in New Jersey that supplies sodas, syrups, mixers and more to thousands of customers across the New York/New Jersey area. Despite long-standing customer service roots, the company struggled with inefficient payment processes—customers paid by mailed checks or drivers relayed credit card numbers by phone—leading to errors, lost payments and heavy administrative work. An earlier online payment attempt also failed due to poor usability and reporting.
Sea Breeze implemented PaySimple’s Virtual Terminal on their website to accept credit cards and eChecks/ACH and to manage both one-time and recurring payments. The new platform improved reporting, reduced manual reconciliation, cut office workload, and sped up collections, which increased customer satisfaction and freed time for the company to focus on growth while maintaining its family- and customer-focused values.
