How U-Select-It got an edge on the competition by building PayRange mobile payment functionality into their vending machines

U-Select-It (USI), a Des Moines-based vending machine manufacturer with more than 85 years in the industry, was looking to stay ahead of the shift toward cashless payments as vending operators saw cashless transactions rising sharply. Working with PayRange, USI wanted to build mobile payment capabilities into its next-generation vending machines so operators could better serve cashless consumers and increase sales.

USI integrated PayRange’s BluKey functionality directly into its FLEX control board for the Evoke Snack 5 ambient glass-front merchandiser, creating the first vending machine line to offer built-in PayRange integration. With PayRange embedded from the factory, operators avoided the cost and hassle of installing separate devices, while gaining mobile payment access and targeted marketing tools that helped drive more transactions, repeat purchases, and higher revenue.
