Payrails offers payments flexibility with agnostic token vault to Vinted

Vinted, a leading international C2C marketplace for second-hand fashion, faced a challenge with payment tokenization. They sought to centralize their payment tokens across all their integrated payment processors to gain more flexibility, but their existing setup locked tokens to specific providers. To solve this, Vinted partnered with Payrails to implement an agnostic token vault.

Payrails provided a solution by implementing its PSP-agnostic token vault and managing a large-scale migration of Vinted's existing tokens. This gave Vinted 100% processor independence, allowing them to use tokens across any provider and easily add new ones. The result was greater commercial and technical flexibility, enhanced security through PCI-DSS 4.0 compliance, and the ability to optimize payment routing using Payrails' advanced BIN database.
