MseM, an information and holiday booking marketplace for mountain resorts, faced the challenge of migrating all of its seller accounts and payment flows to a new provider, Payplug. The migration had to be completed before their high winter season, with no disruption to the customer payment experience or their business operations, which handled peaks of 2 million euros in a single day.

Payplug implemented the migration in partnership with Lemonway, handling the payment collection while Lemonway managed the seller accounts. This solution was completed in under six months, a record time, with the migration of 1,200 accounts being totally transparent for both sellers and purchasers. The result was a stable platform with an intact payment experience, ready for the winter season and enabling MseM to later add new payment methods like American Express.
