The solution implemented by Payplug involved integrating multiple European payment methods like Bancontact, SOFORT, and Giropay to match customer habits. Payplug also provided a customized fraud rule engine to control chargebacks and the Smart Retry tool to maximize transaction authorization rates. This strategy allowed MisterFly to securely manage high-value transactions, with BNPL payments representing up to 80% of transactions for some of its sister brands.
