StubHub, the world’s largest ticket marketplace, relies on trust and fast checkout to keep fans buying. As mobile traffic surged, StubHub’s original PayPal flow couldn’t add new accounts in-app and forced users out of the app to sign in, creating friction and limiting reach to PayPal’s customer base.

To solve this, StubHub integrated Braintree’s SDK with One Touch on iOS (with Android planned), enabling one-tap PayPal checkout while retaining users in the app, with Braintree providing technical support throughout. The change drove an immediate 50% increase in sales and transactions via PayPal on iOS and a 13% lift in dollars per transaction, improving conversion and customer satisfaction.
