Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) faced a critical challenge when the COVID-19 pandemic halted their primary source of funding from in-person events. To sustain their operations, they needed to transition to virtual fundraising and turned to their technology partner DonorDrive and payment vendor PayPal Braintree for a solution.

DonorDrive, integrated with PayPal Braintree, implemented an Express Donate feature with a Venmo payment option to streamline the user experience. This solution enabled single-tap donations and kept users on the same page during the payment flow. As a result, CMN Hospitals saw an 18% increase in funds raised, with donations being completed twice as fast and over 10% of donations being made via Venmo.
