Horizon House Streamlines Complex HR and Payroll Operations with PayNorthwest’s Lumina Workforce Management Suite

Horizon House, a private nonprofit senior living community in Seattle, needed a better way to manage complex HR and payroll administration across about 300 staff members. Its existing system made reporting slow and inflexible, and the organization struggled with tiered benefit plans, separate HR and Accounting data, and a lack of automated HR information systems. PayNorthwest’s cloud-based Lumina workforce management suite was selected to help simplify these processes.

PayNorthwest implemented its Lumina HR and Payroll platform, including a custom interface to feed payroll data into Horizon House’s accounting system and tailored training for HR and payroll teams. The results were immediate: custom report generation time dropped by up to 90%, department heads gained easier access to wage data for budgeting, and HR/payroll operations, benefit plan management, and employee deduction handling were all streamlined.
