A Paymo Case Study
Strongway Webstudio, a 10‑person web development studio in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil led by Leonardo Baptista Lopes, faced the familiar freelancer-to-agency challenge of scaling work while keeping projects orderly, visible and profitable. Having used Paymo before, Strongway adopted the vendor’s task management, workflows and timesheets to solve persistent problems with fleeting communication, unclear task statuses and unreliable time tracking that had forced them to limit concurrent work.
Paymo’s task boards, custom workflows, team scheduling and timesheets became Strongway’s single source of truth, enabling a small team (effectively three core designers) to handle a high volume of work—8 projects this month—more confidently and in parallel. Using Paymo, Strongway improved time reporting and estimates (catching timer errors, charging appropriately), increased throughput of concurrent tasks, and traded raw speed for more reliable, documented delivery.
