A Paylocity Case Study

Preview of the Universal Metro Asian Services Case Study

Universal Metro Asian Services (UMAS) automated nightly data tracking and saved 350 hours to set the stage for a bright future

Universal Metro Asian Services (UMAS), a Roselle, IL nonprofit with 2,400 employees that provides homecare and adult daycare to immigrant communities, faced fragmented HR systems and heavy manual reporting as COVID‑19 accelerated their need to modernize. Seeking a single source of truth for payroll, timekeeping, EVV compliance, onboarding and employee communication, UMAS selected Paylocity and its HR & payroll platform with Time and Attendance, EVV integrations, Employee Self‑Service and Community.

Paylocity automated UMAS’s nightly data tracking and integrated their Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) software, eliminating manual spreadsheet reconciliation and saving 350 hours while cutting administrative requests by 50%. Paylocity also enabled supervisor-led onboarding (about two hours saved per hire, roughly 300 hours/year for ~150 hires) and improved data integrity and compliance (about 80 hours/year), freeing staff to focus on care delivery and simplifying state audits and payroll.
