Blue Ridge Companies, a High Point, NC–based real estate firm with 300+ employees across multiple divisions and many mobile workers, struggled to reach and engage staff who lacked company email or consistent portal access. To simplify HR and payroll and give teams a single place for documents and communication, Blue Ridge turned to Paylocity and its suite of solutions, including Community, LMS, self-service payroll/HR, surveys, and peer recognition (Impressions).
Paylocity deployed its integrated platform—Community for mobile engagement and groups, Impressions for recognition, LMS for training, reporting dashboards and mobile attestation—which consolidated communications and workflows. The results: more efficient HR/payroll processes, doubled Impressions usage, a 79% first‑day completion rate for wellness checks, and 244 of 288 employees completing open‑enrollment training via Paylocity’s LMS, demonstrating clear improvements in engagement and operational efficiency.
