Data-Driven Decisions Help Increase Engagement at Blue Ridge Companies

Blue Ridge Companies, a 400+ employee real estate and property management firm in High Point, NC, faced difficulty communicating with a dispersed, largely mobile workforce (property managers, leasing agents, groundskeepers) and lacked people-analytics to measure engagement. To solve this, Blue Ridge adopted Paylocity’s platform, including Community, Impressions, the survey tool and the Modern Workforce Index.

Paylocity implemented Community for mobile alerts, video posts and daily COVID surveys, plus Impressions and MWI to track utilization, sentiment and recognition. The result: Community reaches 85% of employees monthly, Impressions jumped from 361 (2019) to 1,483 (2020) with recipients rising from 123 to 251, peer-to-peer recognition more than doubled, and MWI metrics now drive leadership decisions on utilization, turnover and ROI.
