Avadian Credit Union, a nearly 100-year-old financial institution serving 80,000 members with 250+ employees, was struggling with a legacy HR and payroll system—manual paper files, poor time-and-attendance integration, slow vendor support, and cumbersome recruiting and onboarding. To modernize and enable remote work, Avadian switched to Paylocity for a cloud-based HR and payroll platform including Payroll, Human Resources, Recruiting, Onboarding, Time and Labor, Expense Management, and reporting tools.
Paylocity implemented a paperless, integrated solution that moved recruiting and onboarding online, automated timekeeping and expense reporting, and centralized employee records. As a result, Avadian can process payroll from anywhere, payroll time shrank from a week to two days, commission and 401(k) uploads dropped from about 30 minutes to five minutes, reporting is available at the push of a button, and remote operations during the COVID-19 shutdown were seamless—all delivered with responsive Paylocity support.
