ISG (The Industrial Service Group), a growing MRO company headquartered in Indianapolis, expanded from three to 16 companies with 1,200 employees across 49 locations. Rapid acquisitions left HR fragmented—paper applications, half-day onboarding meetings, and scattered data—which impaired recruiting, compliance, and workforce planning. ISG turned to Paylocity, already used for payroll, to modernize and standardize HR across the group.
Paylocity was implemented across all entities (17 rollouts) using Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Data Insights, the Paylocity Mobile App, Community, Employee Voice and integrations (Verified First, Employee Navigator) to digitize workflows. The results: more than 3,000 hours saved in one year by cutting four hours per new hire (392 hires), annual EEOC reporting reduced to two minutes, elimination of manual entry into eight systems, better analytics for workforce planning (e.g., identifying companies with 25% of employees aged 45+), and faster, lower‑cost implementations overall.
