OuterBox, an award-winning digital marketing agency that recently doubled in size to about 225 employees across 30 states after acquiring TopSpot, needed a more scalable HR and payroll platform to replace BambooHR. Paylocity implemented a full HCM stack—Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits Administration, Performance, Compensation, Employee Self-Service and Employee Voice—enabling 30-state tax compliance, streamlined benefits and recruiting (including candidate text notifications and calendar invites), faster reporting, and self-service access for employees. As a result of Paylocity’s platform and dedicated support, OuterBox cut HR admin time (saving one HR lead about seven hours per week), eliminated spreadsheet-based compensation work, accelerated reporting, and gained the scalable infrastructure to support continued growth.
