A Paxton Access Case Study
The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) required an improved access control system for their Port Elizabeth base to allow rescue teams immediate entry during operations. Paxton Access provided a solution using their Net2 system to meet this challenge.
Paxton Access implemented their Net2 access control system, managed from a central PC, and installed a KP50 proximity keypad on the main door. This allowed authorized personnel to gain keyless entry using a token or PIN and enabled remote access granting during emergencies. The user-friendly system was installed in one day, and the NSRI team felt confident managing it within 30 minutes. The solution successfully provided secure, remote access control for emergency response.
