A Paxton Access Case Study
Michelin, a major tire manufacturer, required a security system to control access to the main gates and core buildings at its large-scale Dundee factory, aiming to protect its proprietary manufacturing know-how. Paxton Access provided its Net2 electronic access control system to meet this challenge.
The solution implemented by Paxton Access involved installing Metal readers on turnstile gates and using Net2 software to manage access rights for over 800 employees and visitors. The result was an intuitive and cost-effective system that secured key areas and was easily expanded, allowing Michelin to effectively monitor and control site access.
