A Paxton Access Case Study
HARP, a Southend-based charity providing emergency housing and rehabilitation services, required a modern security solution to create a safe and secure environment for its visitors across its day center and night shelter. They partnered with vendor Paxton Access to implement a keyless access control system to manage the building's two distinct zones and provide security for residents and staff.
Paxton implemented its Net2 networked access control system, utilizing Net2 PaxLock wireless handles on bedroom doors paired with energy-saving readers. This solution provided secure, keyless access for residents and staff, with the added benefit of automatically turning off room power when a card is removed. The result for HARP was a secure and private environment for its residents, streamlined management for its staff without the need for physical keys, and plans to expand the Paxton system to all of its 122 beds across multiple sites.
