Using Paubox has lowered Superior Biologics’ risk profile significantly

Superior Biologics, a six-location specialty pharmacy chain that delivers home infusion medications, needed an easy-to-use, HIPAA-compliant email solution because Microsoft’s portal-based encryption forced recipients to create accounts and remember passwords, causing employees to skip encryption. They engaged Paubox and initially adopted Paubox Email Suite Standard, later upgrading to Paubox Email Suite Plus to solve those usability and compliance gaps.

Paubox implemented automatic, background encryption (TLS 1.3, HITRUST CSF) plus inbound protections like ExecProtect and Zero Trust Email with a seamless integration. Since September 2020 Paubox has encrypted nearly 133,000 emails from 179 addresses, and after the March 2021 upgrade it has blocked 9,167 spam messages, 93 viruses, and 84 phishing attacks—significantly lowering Superior Biologics’ risk profile, improving clinician communications, and reducing IT overhead.
