The Caregiver Foundation, a Hawaii-based nonprofit that supports seniors, disabled adults and their caregivers, needed a HIPAA‑compliant, easy-to-use way to exchange protected health information (PHI) by email with field staff and third‑party providers. To meet that challenge they selected Paubox and adopted Paubox Email Suite Plus to secure both outbound and inbound messages without disrupting users.

Paubox implemented Email Suite Plus—using TLS encryption, HITRUST CSF certification, and a seamless, no‑plugin/no‑portal workflow—while adding inbound protections against phishing, malware and display-name spoofing and migrating the foundation’s inboxes.
