Antler, a global venture capital firm supporting founders across six continents, sought to understand and manage its corporate carbon footprint as part of developing a clear climate strategy. The company needed to measure its emissions to make more conscious operational decisions and inspire its portfolio companies to do the same. To gain these insights, Antler partnered with Pathzero, a carbon management platform and also one of its own portfolio companies, to utilize its corporate emissions measurement service.

Pathzero worked closely with Antler over three months to measure its operational emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, including Scope 1, 2, and 3. The result was a quantified footprint of 1895 tCO2e, providing a baseline for future reduction strategies. Furthermore, Pathzero's Navigator tool allowed Antler to quickly access a PCAF-aligned overview of its financed emissions, enabling it to identify high-risk portfolio companies for collaborative decarbonization efforts.
