State Of North Dakota Improves PeopleSoft Visibility & Access Controls With Pathlock Native For PeopleSoft

The State of North Dakota, which oversees more than 70 state agencies, needed better protection for sensitive employee and third-party data in PeopleSoft. The state also wanted more granular visibility into user activity and stronger controls over access to sensitive transactions, challenges its native PeopleSoft security and logging could not fully address. Pathlock’s Native for PeopleSoft was used to help close those gaps.

Pathlock implemented field-level masking across PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, and ELM, along with click-to-view access for privileged users, location-based security, and dynamic MFA challenges using SafeNet. The result was stronger protection for payroll and banking data, improved visibility into transaction-level activity through enhanced logging, and better security for both state employees and third-party suppliers.
