Concordia University Irvine sought to replace its disparate digital systems that forced students to navigate multiple websites with various logins. The Student Affairs department wanted a unified mobile application to integrate all systems, simplify the user experience, and create a single access point for information, but the institution was initially very skeptical of new vendors due to past poor implementation experiences.
The university implemented the Pathify Engagement Hub, which provided a centralized platform combining academic resources with student engagement activities. Key features like the integrated Canvas LMS widget and the highly popular Digital Wallet for mobile IDs drove adoption. The solution resulted in over 2,600 active users, eliminated cafeteria wait times, provided unexpected cost savings by securing forms, and was widely adopted by both students and faculty. Pathify became the digital representation of the entire institutional experience.
