Social Capital Markets (SOCAP) is a global social capital organization that brought together 1,400 investors, foundations and social entrepreneurs to connect capital with social good. They needed an online “open market” and networking space to help funders find projects and attendees find like-minded partners, but prior community attempts had low adoption, they had only a short window to launch before the event, and they required seamless integration with Eventbrite. SOCAP chose Pathable’s community platform to address these challenges.
Pathable implemented its event community and Eventbrite integration, delivering strong engagement despite the short lead time: 1,133 attendees opted into the Pathable community (80% adoption), generating over 1,500 Tweets with #SOCAP, 3,461 private messages, 607 one‑on‑one meetings scheduled and 130 ongoing conversations; 75% of survey respondents reported using the tool. Pathable’s tools helped attendees start networking before the event, increase session attendance and spur ongoing collaboration between funders and projects.
