PolicyLink, a national research and action institute advancing economic and social equity, ran its 4th National PolicyLink Equity Summit for 2,300+ attendees and aimed to prove whether an online community and mobile tools would be adopted by their audience. To test this, PolicyLink partnered with Pathable (integrated with RegOnline) to provide an event community, mobile access and personal conference scheduling.

Pathable’s platform delivered an easy-entry online community and schedule tools that attendees could export to calendars or view on mobile. PolicyLink saw a 68% opt-in rate (vs. ~50% average), 11,874 individual sessions added to personal schedules, 378 public and 520 private messages exchanged, and conversations continuing months after the event—demonstrating that Pathable’s solution exceeded PolicyLink’s goals and added clear networking and engagement value.
