Innovation Forum, a UK-based organizer of sustainability and supply-chain conferences, faced the sudden need to move multiple in-person events online in 2020 due to COVID-19. Seeking to preserve their debate-driven, interactive format rather than just one-way webinars, Innovation Forum selected the Pathable platform to deliver virtual conferences that maintained conversation and networking at the center.

Using Pathable’s customizable platform—embedded live webinars, Birds of a Feather small-group meetings, private 1:1 video scheduling, virtual trade show booths and day-of support—Innovation Forum ran three virtual events for roughly 600 attendees. Results included strong engagement (Future of Food EU: 181 attendees scheduled 47 private meetings, ≥50% meeting engagement, and more than 40,000 page views), 7 networking sessions with 254 attendees and working groups with 165 attendees, plus positive attendee feedback on usability and agenda features delivered by Pathable.
