A Pathable Case Study
SunTrust Banks needed a way to connect employees and senior executives before, during and after its annual employee-recognition event so honorees who didn’t know each other (or the executives) could build relationships and engage earlier. To solve this, SunTrust deployed Pathable’s community-engagement platform and device-agnostic mobile app to create a pre-event community and an on-site engagement tool.
Pathable preloaded executive profiles, created value-themed groups, used prize-driven incentives and provided the mobile app for real-time conversation and feedback. The campaign drove strong adoption and activity: 401 of 454 invited joined (88%), ~4,406 visits (~10 per person), 24,722 page views, 214 public and 47 private messages, average visit 11:34 minutes, and about 30% of attendees downloaded the app within 48 hours; executives reported meaningful conversations and SunTrust has continued using Pathable year-round.
