The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), an international membership association for proposal professionals, faced the sudden need to move its annual conference online in spring 2020 while celebrating a recent 10,000-member milestone. Wanting a global, highly interactive celebration rather than a short static program, APMP chose the Pathable platform to produce the Winning Business Virtual Experience (WBVE): a 32-hour virtual event with six concurrent tracks designed to include members worldwide.

Using Pathable, APMP delivered 120+ sessions featuring pre-recorded webinars with live chat, polling and Q&A, concurrent and sponsor sessions, virtual breakout “Birds of a Feather” meetings, a custom Session Genres agenda, private messaging, targeted communications, and a persistent event website with on-demand recordings. The WBVE drew 2,200+ attendees, generated more than 10,000 messages, and drove nearly 2,000 additional site visits in the week after the event; attendees and speakers praised Pathable’s intuitive mobile and desktop experience and APMP used the learnings to shape future virtual programming.
