The Hoke County Health Department needed to improve the accuracy and compliance of its in-house pharmacy, which dispenses medications for programs like family planning. The challenge involved eliminating error-prone paper records for inventory and dispensing, which was difficult to manage with a part-time pharmacist. Patagonia Health implemented its integrated Pharmacy App within its existing EHR system. This solution automated the pharmacy's workflow, including electronic dispensing records, inventory tracking with alerts, and label printing.
