Calendly - Customer Case Study

Calendly, a scheduling software company, was facing challenges with its feedback process during a major website redesign. Their team, including non-technical stakeholders, found it difficult to give contextual feedback on complex interactive elements using their existing tools like Figma and Slack, where comments were often hard to track and manage. They turned to the visual feedback platform Pastel to find a better solution.

Using Pastel, Calendly was able to create canvases from live Webflow prototypes, allowing stakeholders to leave feedback directly on the website in a natural, intuitive way. The implementation required no training and made the process significantly easier, especially for non-designers. As a result, their CRO alone left hundreds of comments, and the team has since adopted Pastel for all website projects, landing pages, and marketing campaigns. They also highlighted the benefits of specific Pastel features like inline text editing, Asana integrations, and feedback deadlines for keeping projects on schedule.
