The City of Las Vegas needed a modern, flexible mobile parking payment solution to let drivers start and extend sessions remotely, reduce parking enforcement burdens, and adapt as downtown demand evolved. After a pilot program testing two vendors, the city selected Passport and its PassportParking mobile payment platform (integrated with Parkeon) for its technical capabilities and collaborative partnership.

Passport deployed the PassportParking app and ran a “Keep Your Change” launch campaign, integrated the solution with Parkeon for centralized reporting, and provided ongoing support. As a result, the City of Las Vegas recorded a 19x increase in mobile pay revenue and an 8x increase in mobile pay transactions since the pilot, experienced fewer parking tickets and better payment compliance, and gained easier customer-service resolution through Passport’s back end.
