EasyPark, a Vancouver-based leader in parking innovation, needed to modernize its payment system away from meters and cash while preserving its bold private-brand experience. The challenge was to find a mobile payment vendor that could deliver a frictionless, private‑label app that matched EasyPark’s branding and marketing strategy, while providing a safe, secure back-end. EasyPark engaged Passport to provide a private‑label mobile solution on Passport’s parking and transit platform.
Passport built and deployed EasyPark’s branded mobile app and secure back-end (including PCI‑DSS Level 1 compliance), enabling an easy‑to‑maintain system with configurable rates and fewer on‑street meters. The Passport solution improved the customer experience, reduced hardware and maintenance needs, and drove measurable growth — transactions rose +69% year‑over‑year (2016–2017) across EasyPark’s 14,000 spaces.
