A PartnerLinQ Case Study
Japanese Tea Company, a multinational tea producer and one of the world’s largest green tea distributors, was struggling with siloed legacy systems across its growing warehouse network in the US and Canada. With many 3PL-managed sites, a mix of EDI and non-EDI partners, and manual communication tied to warehouses and retailers, the company faced transmission errors, inefficiency, and high operating costs. PartnerLinQ was brought in to help address these integration challenges alongside a new ERP environment.
PartnerLinQ, implemented with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, provided an Azure-native connectivity platform that linked ERP, warehouse, distribution, ecommerce, and trading partner workflows. The solution onboarded 8 warehouses and 12 distribution partners within weeks, automated ERP-to-EDI and API transactions, scheduled weekly inventory transfers, and simplified partner onboarding with preconfigured business rules. As a result, Japanese Tea Company moved thousands of purchase orders, shipment documents, and ecommerce transactions through an end-to-end automated workflow, improving efficiency, reducing manual work, and creating a scalable foundation for future growth.
