Savin Hill Fitness Studio, a new gym in the Dorchester neighborhood, faced the challenge of designing a space that was both highly functional for fitness and aesthetically calming, like a spa. The owner, Erin Madore, wanted a light and airy environment with minimal decor. To achieve this, her interior designer Jessica Klein of Oh, I Design needed a durable flooring solution that could withstand gym wear and tear while matching the serene Scandinavian-inspired design aesthetic. They turned to Parterre Flooring Systems for a solution.

Parterre Flooring Systems provided the solution with their Vertu Snowy Oak luxury vinyl flooring. The product delivered the soft, subtle wood look the design required while offering the industrial-grade durability needed for a gym setting. The result was a seamless, spa-like environment that perfectly realized the client's vision. The studio opened successfully in July 2019 and became a community staple, with members frequently using the inviting lobby space as a relaxing haven.
