Case Study: Graeter’s scales its POS operations with ParTech

Finding a POS solution was so mission critical to Graeter’s that the CEO sat in on PAR’s presentation meeting

Graeter’s, the family-owned ice cream company that grew from a small Ohio operation into a national retail and grocery brand, needed a new point-of-sale solution after its existing POS provider offered declining support and a startup vendor repeatedly missed deadlines. As the company expanded to 37 corporate stores, 6,000+ grocery locations, and online sales, it needed a scalable system that could keep up with its growth and integrations.

ParTech implemented the PAR Brink POS cloud-based software, quickly building the solution from a minimal database file and replicating Graeter’s existing POS experience. ParTech provisioned the busiest store within days, rolled out two stores per day, and brought all 37 corporate stores live in four and a half weeks. The new system also delivered the integrations Graeter’s wanted and made retraining easier for about 1,000 employees.
