Ubisoft brings press demos forward

Ubisoft, a leading game developer, faced the challenge of providing remote, hands-on demos of its graphically intense new games to global press and VIPs when in-person events became impossible. They needed a low-latency streaming solution that would deliver a secure, high-quality experience indistinguishable from local play. They partnered with Parsec to utilize its streaming technology.

Parsec provided its SDK to create a branded application that delivered secure, low-latency gameplay streams from Ubisoft's global hosting zones to users. The solution was a major success, enabling over 1,500 demos across 30 countries and generating 15 million impressions. The press focused on the games themselves, not the technology, and Ubisoft was able to give twice as many demos as a typical physical conference.
