Wyeth, a global pharmaceutical manufacturer with a production site in Itapevi, Brazil, sought to build a continuous-improvement culture to drive productivity, improve operator involvement, benchmark KPIs and identify bottlenecks. Parsec Automation (via certified partner HSI) was engaged to deliver the TrakSYS™ operations-management platform to support quality/SPC, OEE, performance and labor management, planning/scheduling, and regulatory-compliant batch/recipe tracking.

Parsec Automation implemented TrakSYS™ across eight finishing/packaging lines with SENSORTrak™ data collectors, EVENTTrak™ operator interfaces and SAP integration to provide real-time data, loss visualization and root-cause analysis. The solution doubled production output, cut overtime and outsourced labor, increased average OEE by roughly 120% (including a 28-point rise from 23% to 51%), refined production planning and significantly boosted operator engagement.
