Messier-Bugatti-Dowty (Safran), a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, struggled with limited visibility into production capacity across a complex, multi-continent operation and could not reliably estimate whether it could take on new orders. To address this, the company engaged Parsec Automation and deployed Parsec’s TrakSYS™ operations management platform.

Parsec Automation implemented a server-based TrakSYS™ solution (OPC-connected CNCs, 12 EVENTTrak™ operator nodes and browser workstations), initially on two lines and expanded to 12, replacing manual time tracking and enabling real-time capacity, scheduling and root-cause analysis. As a result Parsec Automation helped Messier-Bugatti-Dowty reduce unscheduled downtime, improve daily production time by about one hour per CNC, determine correct resource allocations, and achieve ROI in less than three months.
