A ParqEx Case Study
The Evanston Metro Center, a commercial office building managed by Transwestern, faced significant challenges in managing its secure parking garage. The property management team struggled with the costly and inefficient process of distributing and collecting physical access transponders ("clickers") for tenants. They also needed to maximize income from unused parking capacity and improve enforcement against unauthorized vehicles, all without adding to their administrative burden. They partnered with ParqEx to address these issues.
ParqEx implemented its full-service platform, including the Access+ system for smartphone-based access and the Marketplace to rent out unused spots. This solution eliminated the need for physical clickers, streamlined the rental process, and provided staff with the Enforcer tool for quick vehicle verification. As a result, Evanston Metro Center generated over $57,000 in added operating income while significantly reducing the management effort required from its team.
