Dorninger Hytronics rolls out HydroSym and HydroMan to the whole company

Dorninger Hytronics, a medium-sized hydraulic manufacturer producing 20,000 control blocks and about 3,000 units per year, faced the challenge of moving from 2D CAD schematics to “intelligent” hydraulic diagrams to ensure correct symbol use, simplify piping design, and save time in downstream processes. To meet this need they worked with Paro Software, evaluating and selecting Paro’s HydroSym (and its companion HydroMan) as the replacement for their legacy 2D workflows.

Paro Software implemented a phased rollout—building a tailored symbol/component library, onboarding initial engineering teams, and expanding company-wide—bringing HydroSym into daily use for about 20 users now and planned adoption by roughly 40. The Paro Software solution streamlined schematic creation, improved component-level accuracy for faster control block design in HydroMan, reduced rework, and delivered a clearer end-to-end overview; Dorninger Hytronics also cites fast performance, strong support and ongoing Paro Software updates as key benefits.
