Workfront Adopts ParkMyCloud Globally to Save $200,000 Per Year on Multi-Cloud Environment

Adobe Workfront, a global work management platform running thousands of VMs across AWS and GCP and used daily by 200+ users on 30+ teams, faced rising multi-cloud costs and a culture that treated cloud resources as “just free.” While using CloudHealth for governance, they needed additional automation to stop users from leaving instances running; CloudHealth introduced them to ParkMyCloud and its SmartParking recommendation engine to address this gap.

ParkMyCloud was trialed to collect usage patterns and automatically generate on/off schedules, which Workfront applied to development and non-production environments (finding 7 of 8 environments could be turned off at least 12 hours/day). The vendor’s platform made rollout simple, supported Slack visibility and automated policies, and enabled Workfront to project a conservative savings of $200,000 per year while planning further optimization with ParkMyCloud’s rightsizing features.
