The Texas Rangers partnered with ParkHub to improve parking operations at Globe Life Park. Their challenges included low credit card utilization, slow processing with limited payment devices, and the inability to properly validate prepaid parking passes, all while trying to reduce fan inconvenience during nearby construction.
ParkHub implemented its mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solution along with a business intelligence suite to process cash, credit card, NFC, and prepaid parking payments, while tracking occupancy and revenue in real time. The results included a 192% increase in credit card revenue versus the prior system, $54,108 in protected revenue from 3,006 invalid and duplicate passes, $15,623 in theft deterrence value, and nearly a 50% reduction in invalid scans.
