American Airlines Center, one of the nation’s busiest arenas and home to the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars, faced a predominantly cash-only parking operation with limited attendant controls, no real-time transaction or occupancy tracking, and no integration with Ticketmaster’s prepaid/ticketing system. To address these challenges they engaged ParkHub and its Prime product.
ParkHub installed Prime in June 2014, enabling credit‑card‑over‑gate payments, prepaid-pass scanning, LTE/Wi‑Fi/offline connectivity and mobile payments (including Apple Pay), plus a real‑time interactive dashboard and a Ticketmaster integration delivered within a month. The ParkHub solution processed almost 25,000 transactions, drove a 48% year‑over‑year lift in total parking revenue, increased per‑vehicle revenue, and gave managers live visibility to optimize pricing, staffing and traffic flow.
