La Galleria gets more out of its assigned parking with Parkade

La Galleria, a 187-unit residential building in San Francisco managed by First Service Residential, faced significant parking challenges. They struggled with a lack of spots for guests, residents with multiple vehicles, and their own staff. The manual processes for managing parking were a major time drain for management, and the lack of available, reliable parking was a constant frustration for everyone.

The building implemented the Parkade app to create a peer-to-peer marketplace for its assigned parking spots. This allowed residents to easily rent their unused spaces to other residents, guests, and staff. Parkade automated the entire process, including billing and enforcement. The results were transformative: guest parking availability reached 99.9%, residents collectively earned thousands monthly by sharing spots, and management saved significant time while gaining a new revenue stream. Parkade also improved security and parking behavior, effectively adding the equivalent of 13 new spots to the garage.
